About Me

I am a friendly and funny guy who loves to find new challenges. A chemist who turned into a photographer and event manager of the most internatinal event in Köln (Social Melting Pot - Cologne). Always interested in anything new and different. I don't like stereotypes but I rather enjoy the differences and authenticity in people. I am a completely easy going person, can't stress that enough...

I am natural traveller, very talkative and sociable. I am really open minded and I love to get to know new people from all around the globe. Every culture is unique and I love to discover the very tinny details behind every ritual or cultural manners. I love my kitchen, place where lots of crazy things happen, if you will be willing to share some recipes from your country of origin I would love to try it myself. Food is sexy and discover new dishes my biggest pleasure.

PHILOSOPHY

Once the philosopher M. Jagger said:

"You cant always get waht you want"
But if you try sometimes,
Well you just might find you get what you need! (aw baby yeah, aw)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I 've been much more active years ago, but I would love to give it a try again, and explore more and more places with other cool people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have made great experiences hosting and being hosted... life is so much fun when shared!

Interests

I love to ride my bicycle, cook, grill, eat. I eat everything what doesnt have raw tomatoes. I like to walk a lot, meet new people, talk to strangers. I am one of those kind of people who would start talking to you at the bus stop without any reason.. What else? I like listening music.. I really dont have any particular favorite genre, I would say I listen to everything.. Jazz, Tango, Salsa, Electro, Pop, Rock, Classic... etc. etc.

I love photography and enjoy to walk shooting people.. with my new camera. I used to be a Canon guy, now proudly Sony lover, but I must admit that Nikon has its good things as well. I am currently experiencing whit analogic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am so happy to organize a weekly Cultural Exchange Meeting in Cologne called Social Melting Pot. The whole idea behind the SMP meetings is to get to know new people while practicing a new language in a chill-out environment. It is not a Tandem. It is not a Disco. But it is the best mixture of cultures you will ever seen.

Since the beginning of SMP I have been working hard with a team of great friends to make this meeting free and open to everyone who want to join us.

If you want to know more, you will find me every Wednesday at Die Wohngemeinschaft Hostel @7pm and I can speak to you back in Spanish, English, Portuguese or German. Hopefully soon also in Italian (=

Countries I’ve Visited
