ABOUT ME
I'm a second-year medical student, and I'm on my way to becoming a surgeon. I have lots of diverse interests, including racket sports (Federer fan for life) and the piano (I prefer Bach to Mozart, Chopin to Brahms, and I especially like late romantics such as Rachmaninoff and Scriabin). I also like chess and cycling - if you're biking into town, I'd be happy to go with you on a local ride.
When I travel, I like to wander aimlessly and explore cities, beaches, etc. I can be a bit scatterbrained, but I'll try my best to do a good job if I'm hosting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If I'm around, I can host you. However, please keep in mind that, due to the rigors of medical school, I might not be able to spend much time showing you around town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've had only great experiences... I only wish I had the chance to use it more!
Interests
As I mentioned, I'm especially into science, classical piano and racket sports. In particular, I could talk about the piano for hours, so get in touch if you're like-minded!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most music, particularly electronic (e.g. Autechre, Boards of Canada) and classical (especially Chopin and early 20th century Russian composers).
The book I've read the most times is The Little Prince. Other favorites include House of Leaves and The Trial. Right now, I'm battling through Blood Meridian.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen lots of amazing musician perform live, including Ravi Shankar, Philip Glass, Ivo Pogorelich, Autechre, and Stereolab.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to talk about science, or give you a piano lesson. I'm interested in learning whatever you want to teach me.
