Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eating my way across the world - one marshmellow at a time
ABOUT ME
In a nutshell - Friendly, Easy Going, committed, Loyal, Honest.
Addicted to travel, love exploring countries and learning about different cultures. Big on sports - Cricket is my main passion but I also really like Australian Rules Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Tennis and Golf.
Do tend to get restless career wise - have jumped careers a few times having started out working out in SEO, then moved into IT (worked at IBM), Business (ANZ - one of Australias big banks) and now Product Management for a software company. So i think my career has been varied which does make it interesting.
Love to cook and quite a foodie...I might let my stomach dictate my travel destinations or agenda for the day a bit too much. I specialise in cooking thai food mostly and soups :)
PHILOSOPHY
Say hello to every one and share your smile
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've never stayed at a couchsurf but I have had a few friends stay at my place who i have met in my travels overseas when they happened to be in my home town. One from Canada and one from UK. It was a joy showing them my home town and I have been lucky enough to also visit their home and stay with them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When i did a working holiday in the UK, a friend and a friend of friend was kind enough to let me use their spare beds and couch and I just thought..wow, so much goodwill. Also Stayed on couch of a fellow traveller i met when travelling Canada and Mexico when i arrived in their home town in Frederickton (Canada) and Berlin (Germany). Last i did a proper couch surfing (via this site) when i stayed with a top bloke from Philiphines living in Tokyo when i was in Japan
