About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience life! Make friends! Enjoy all there is to offer!

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going guy who likes to have a laugh and a good time. My friends consider me to be a postive and funny guy that makes them feel good especially if they've had a bad day. I like to entertain and make people laugh. I equally enjoy going on adventures and relaxing with a good book/movie/etc. I like making new friends and seem to easily do so wherever I go. I love having good conversations with people and hearing peoples views and philosophies. I'm always up for dancing (Took salsa leasson for a couple of years) or listening to good music and if there is good food nearby then I'm on it. If I haven't tried it before; even better!

Halfway through my Education degree I realised that I didn't want to stay in one country teaching and decided to do further education after I got my degree in order to become qualified to teach English as a language. So far I've been teaching in Moscow and I've been loving the cultural change and the friends I've made. I hope that through my travels and the people I meet through Couchsurfing to continue this amazing experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too chaotic to be rigid and stuck in one frame of mind. Live life, experience it, because you regret more the things you didn't do than the things you did.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to converse and exchange stories. I can help people who want to improve their English. If you need someone to go dancing with then I'm down for that as well as I've been an avid Salsa and Latin Dance enthusiast for years now. Otherwise we can sit down and have a chat and pass the time away.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this and was recommended by a friend who said it was an amazing experience and changed how he saw travelling as it opens the doors to great friendships and experiences that you don't get through hotels/hostels/packaged deals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh wow, too many and not enough. If we meet in person we can discuss them over a drink.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ummm, chased after a shark once while diving... wasn't my idea. Was a hell of an experience.

fought a Kangaroo when I was child. Don't judge me! He was after my sandwich and he threw the first punch.

Staring at the stars out in the bush, swimming in the ocean at night... simple stuff, but it gets me every time. Oh, it just asks for one thing... oops.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English as a second language. I like dancing Salsa and just dancing in general so if you want to practice some moves at an event or in the living room, then I can be your dance partner. I like talking with people and discussing anything that ranges from the silly to the theosophical. I'm a three chord bandit on the guitar and I'm willing to jam with anyone and learn as much as I can from them.
