ABOUT ME
They say you can't judge a book by its cover. This past year has proven that saying correct. How many times have you looked at a map? I mean really? You've probably just stared at it for a while or for a quick glance trying to locate a certain country, etc. Never in my life would I have thought that I would look at a map in such a different way. They also say that when one door closes, two more open. When I look at a map today... All I see are doors!
PHILOSOPHY
Explore myself, every country at a time. Just as many have said or believe, you only live once, so why live in regret or not do what you desire to do. I just want to enjoy life to the fullest which is why I find myself so active and so enthusiastic at all times. Life is too short to take things slow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It is funny updating these options as time certainly has flown by. I originallly signed up without utilizing this website at all. At this point, CS has connected me with individuals from all over the world. I began hosting while living on the East Coast of the United States in Washington, DC and since my move to the West Coast, I have had the opportunity to meet and host new friends. I have been fortunate enough to explore vast amounts of Europe. I look forward to meeting more surfers and creating new friendships.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I began hosting in March 2012 and have not slowed down since. I have had the honor to meet such inspiring and amazing people who I can now call friends. As I now head away from the East Coast and head to San Francisco, I'm looking forward to the adventures and experiences I'll create. To all my previous surfers, you'll forever be in my heart! Wouf!
Interests
Hiking, biking, swimming, running, kayaking, snowboarding, soccer, and everything else that involves me getting my butt out of bed! I've competed in many races and completed a few triathlons as well. I absolutely hate running the most, so I've recently been entering myself in many races to overcome this challenge. If you don't like it, get used to it, right? :-D

Music, Movies, and Books
Honestly, instead of writing out a novel of a thread I'll just say that I enjoy it all. I can be spotted in the fields for a country concert, in the car blasting rap, at home jamming to some rock, at a musical on Broadway, or at work listening to pop music. I really wish I read more. I love movies; thank goodness for Netflix!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing atop a temple in the middle of Bangkok, Thailand overlooking the whole entire city. Breathtaking!
Teach, Learn, Share
Be open and don't hold back on being you! Stay active and go after whatever it is that you want out of life. Life will always throw challenges at you, so why not take them and make it own it.
