ABOUT ME

I try to have a positive outlook on life, and I try to have fun whenever possible. I very much enjoying meeting new people, traveling, and learning about other cultures.

I am born and raised in Austin TX. American of Mexican descent. I try to embrace the best of both cultures but sometimes I feel caught between two different worlds. That said, I am proud to be the result of two wonderful cultures. Fluent in English and Spanish.

I enjoy watching films. Science fiction films are my favorite. Especially the films that follow the superhero mythology, Marvel or DC comics. But I also enjoy comedy, drama, and action films.

Outdoor activities are fun for me, camping, hiking, cycling, and swimming. I very very much enjoying snorkeling. I did bungee jumping once and I would like to try skydiving.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I will have a next life. So I will enjoy this one!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined couchsurfing but I hope to really dive in as soon as I get my degree and finish school or in-between school semesters. So far, I have shown other surfers around my city of Austin. And I have attended some meetings and met new people both surfers and locals.

I have three grand travel plans that involve couchsurfing. I would like to take a road trip and couchsurf across southwest and northwest United States for a month and a half. Also, I would like to couchsurf across the Middle East for a month. Finally, I would like to couchsurf across South America for three months.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had a chance to couchsurf yet but I hope to start sometime in the year 2015. I have met several surfers in Austin both out of state and local Austin residents. I would like to take a road trip and couchsurf this wonderful country soon. Also I will host surfers, most likely during my semester breaks.

The most amazing thing I have done so far is kayak for several hours with my sister in Kealakekua Bay on the Big Island Hawaii.

The most amazing thing I have seen is the historic sight of Tiger Hill in Suzhou, China.
