About Me

Please read carefully "My home" section to be hosted!

And so it begins,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, it's a very difficult topic for me because even though I listen to it and create some of it also I could not say that I have a favorite genre. Of course I like (to) rock, but there is also ska, punk, metal (rather symphonic or melodic), rap, hip-hop, classical (romantic, baroque, contemporary) etc...
There is a lot about life in music so I take every piece that I like and put it in my mind for remembering it after or I note it or I put in my Favorite's list in YT.

When it comes to Movies I definitely like to watch movies in their original versions, that is with subtitles. Some people find it weird or effort consuming but I like to listen to the actors' voices and get involved in the story. I think I like the journey from the first animated child movies that sometimes when I feel nostalgic I put on, to the newest of the blockbusters that I feel that they are worth watching at the cinema, and also to the little associative theater that struggles to keep its doors open and sets an eclectic list of films.

On what books refer there are two that come inmediately to my mind and that is because they've found a momentum within my personal history. The first one was written by Carlos Ruiz Zafón and it's called "La sombra del viento" (The shadow of the wind) that was a beacon of hope during hard times. The other one was written by Christian Duverger and it's called "Cortés et son double: enquête sur une mystification" (Cortés and his double: inquiry into a mystification) this book travelled with me from France to Mexico and I was lucky enough to attend to a conference by its author just because I happened to open the cultural agenda of the month at the right page and maybe at the right time also that took me to visit a place that I've never been before.

I'd say that I'm lucky enough to be able to read in spanish, english and french and sincere enough to say that I'd like to read more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live in a different country for a decade! That's when the perpetual movement to visit and interact with locals started.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French, Spanish or English.

I'd like to learn and improve my German, Russian and Japanese.

What I Can Share with Hosts
