About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find others who enjoy visiting countries without staying in fancy, expensive hotels.
ABOUT ME
Some love to eat; I only eat to live...but I live to travel.
I have visited more than 50 countries and counting. So much to see, so little time.
I enjoy being outdoors, and my wife and I also enjoy working in our garden.
We have 5 kids all of whom are married and have their own family (10 grandchildren and counting)
PHILOSOPHY
I live to travel as others live to party.
Life is too short to get to visit everywhere on earth, but I plan on visiting as many interesting places as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies and music don't really interest me.
I read a little, mostly biographies, travel journals, and history books.
I sometimes listen to music from the 60's
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have met lots wonderful people and visited many more fantastic places. I like to explore the path less trod, and find my own way. I have way too many experiences to speak about here, but would enjoy passing them on to others over a cup of tea.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to chat to other people who live in a world totally different from my own world. As a teacher of young teenagers, I like to work with them, play sports with them and chat with them. I enjoy talking to local people about their lives, particularly when I am visiting somewhere new. I enjoy asking them about the region and country in which they live.
Countries I’ve Visited
Greece, Japan, Jordan, Nigeria, Peru, Poland, Sudan, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates
Countries I’ve Lived In
Colombia, United States
