I am a student who just moved to Germany to work as an Au-Pair in order to learn the language. I grew up in three different countries : Israel, England, and then finally in New York. I consider myself to be a New Yorker, although I wasn't born there :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to make a profile here because I thought it would be a way to meet other people. I just moved to Germany and it can be hard meeting people when you are in a completely new county with no connections, so I thought I would give this a try.

Interests

I enjoy reading, and watching movies. I also sometimes play sports or do other fitness related things. I used to also play lots video games but I do not have the time to do that anymore unfortunately.

I am not huge into outdoor activities, and I mostly prefer to travel to cities, where one can feel the daily rhythm of the culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's too hard to say what ones favorite film, song, book etc is. I mostly watch older films, going back to the 1920's sometimes. I listen to whatever I happen to like at the time, and it's the same with books.

I suppose growing up in three different countries is somewhat amazing, but I can't really take credit as my opinion wasn't really asked ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mostly I can help people through language exchange. It is always more fun to learn a language this way, instead of just studying the whole time.
