ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Dave. I'm 27. I grew up in Arizona, but got a taste for travel when I did my study abroad in Germany. Since then I've lived and traveled through many countries in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. I like music and play a few instruments. I enjoy hiking and camping and other outdoor activities. One of my favorite hobbies is home brewing. I have a nut allergy, but I carry my meds with me everywhere I go.

Interessen

Reading, movies, music. I dig linguistics, history and international relations. I've got a background in music, and play trombone, piano, and some guitar and bass. I enjoy the outdoors and being outside, and have taken some survival courses. I also do a bit of home brewing.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: Into the Wild, Goodbye Lenin, The Departed, LOTR, The Good the Bad and the Ugly.
Music: Band of Horses, Trampled by Turtles, The Black Keys, Muse, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, NoFX. I can get down to most anything though.
Books: Shantaram, The Alchemist, Sherlock Holmes, Fire and Ice series, Tolkien, Jack London, Vonnegut.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Armenia working with a small local school for 2+ years. Went to Peru and explored Machu Pichu. Lived in Istanbul and roamed the ancient ruins of Ephesus. Traversed the American heart land on a month long road trip with my brother.
