Overview
About Me
I'm a traveler at heart and tend not to stay in one place for very long. I love growing food, playing games, and making art. I teach children science and art and hope that I will live in an intentional community abroad, teaching.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've stayed on many friends' and strangers' couches over the years, and while I still have a steady stream of friends to come visit, I'd like to help strangers with a good place to stay too.
Interests
games (I really like to play any game...), crafting (making paper/books, food, jury rigged appliances, small wooden items, or any medium I can get my hands into), thrifting, consuming fermented everything, and meeting new people

Music, Movies, and Books
Good detective novels, old sci-fi, childhood favorites, mind fucks, or something new.
I've got a soft spot for old movies, but I also like ones that go boom and bang too. And anything in Spanish (got to practice all the time!)
Music is a complicated one, my tastes vary a lot depending on the day, my mood, and what I ate for breakfast. I am currently a bit bored with my music, so I'm eager to find some new voices.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked around the volcano Cotopaxi (an almost perfect cone, 3700m high) with a mongrel dog, no plan besides to keep the mountain on my right, and scrounging for hammock spots.
