About Me

Hi everyone!
My name is David.
I'm a very easy going person. I consider myself friendly, funny, smart, open minded, determined and adventurous.

I'm from Costa Rica, a little (but precious) country in Central America.

My native language is Spanish, but I can communicate in english, or at least I'll try to give my best :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, and I love to meet new interesting friends around the world from whom I can learn something new, maybe about their culture, their language, their way of living, their experiences.
The most valuable about it is the opportunity to appreciate different perspectives about life.

Also, I like all the philosophy related to CouchSurfing: Make friends, find accommodation, and then, If you can, help other people when they need so.

Interests

Traveling, of course! I'm very interested in geography and the different cultures, gastronomies, architectures, technologies, and history.

As an engineer, I always see everything from the engineering point of view, but always try to see from different perspectives as well.

I'm very interested in renewable energies, energetic efficiency, and "green" technologies that help us to conserve our environment.

My favourite hobby is to ride my motorcycle while I discover new landscapes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock, but I'm always disposed to appreciate other generes, as long as it's good music.

Movies: Thrillers, comedy, terror, everything.

Books: Entrepreneurship

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I traveled! I had never been in an airplane, but I wanted to discover Europe, so I went alone, just me and my backpack, took a flight to the other side of the world, stayed in shared bedrooms at hostels, went to a HUGE music festival with more than 150 000 people, and went through several countries by train. It was amazing, and very intense, considering that it was the first time I traveled. I will never forget that experience!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be great to find people interested in share travel experiences, give and receive recommendations about future trips, and thell them everything they need to know if they are interested to travel to Costa Rica, or somewhere else I've been.
