After working too many years in a lonely apartment in America, I packed a bag, traded in my desktop for a laptop, and left for SE Asia on March 5, 2016. My work (stock photography and 3D art) is online and travels with me. I spend 1 to 3 months in a country and focus on meeting new people, making friendships, and experiencing local life and culture in each area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People and conversation has become the focus of my travels. I generally prefer relaxed environments and meaningful dialogue over noisy clubs or bars. People are easiest to connect with one on one. I'm looking to make more of those connections through Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited a friend in Yunlin and was warmly treated like a member of the family for 5 days as I was welcomed into their household and shown some of the best local sights and culture.
