ABOUT ME

I'm from HK, and am 2008 graduate from an University in Guangzhou, China for my Bachelor degree in International Trading. I love HK and China and enjoy living here.

Backpacking is my passion. I've always been trying to be open minded, patient, listening and most of all flexible.. I wanna be exposed to different cultures and ideas, and I genuinely wanna know who I really am. Still trying to define my life I guess:P

I like trying all sorts of new ideas. (well, anything reasonable to me:)

When it comes to sports. So far, I've tried sandboarding in South Africa, skiing in the swiz alps (for a little while), riding water bike in Angel Bay, Nice, France, scuba diving in Malaysia and wakeboarding in HK..

I look forward to keep experiencing different cultures in the coming future.

PHILOSOPHY

Always have a clear goal. Follow my heart, finding out what I want to do, and then put it into practise. I wanna have joy in my life and at the same time bring joy in others life.
'Sometimes it doesn't matter what others tell u, all that matters is what ur heart tells u!'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch unfortunately. But I tried my best showing people around HK and (Guangzhou if I happen to be there). Love meeting up friends from different cultures. I surfed alot in the summer 2007 for two months in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Had a very special experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before becoming a cs member, the only few times I slept in a couch is when I was travelling in the villages of Provence, France in the summer of 2006. I had little money left at the time and decided to sleep outside for a couple of nights when I was hiking in the villages and the lavender fields. Luckily I met some nice locals and they let me sleep in their couch. I guess it's kind of couchsurfing..
In 2007, I surfed alot in the summer in Malaysia area. Had a great time.

Interests

Travelling and meeting people from different cultures is the most interesting thing for me now.

Watching movie is one of my biggest hobbies. My favourites: The Kite Runner, Mean Girls, Hotel Ruwanda, The Girl Next Door, The Notebook, Good Will Hunting, Schindler's List, Titanic, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Billy Elliot, I am Sam, High School Musical 1&2, Step Up 1&2..

Favorite Books: Harry Porter Series, Chinese KungFu Fictions, Corporate Management Books - Jack Welch & GE, Le comte de Monte-Cristo, different biographies..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling alone in Western Europe and sleeping outside in the villages in Provence. One night I slept inside a car in a hilltop village. I listened to the rainfall and stared at the stars through the car window before falling into sleep.

I can share my experience in China. It's my home country but it's huge, and I know it quite well.
And I also like to learn from others' backgrounds and specialties.
