About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The essence of my travels is not in the landscapes, nor the bricks and mortar i have seen, it is in the people i've met.
ABOUT ME
complex, interested, passionate, eager to learn
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Depending on the amount of work I have, I have a couch(actually a bedroom) available from time to time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Being stuck in a little village, without a car, or a bike, and not speaking a single word of the language, one learns to appreciate even more the tips and good advice from CSurfers in the area :)
I am truly amazed how helpful and friendly CS-people are.
Interests
Passionate about cycling(both active and passive), literature, arts and music. Haven't played the guitar for too long but luckily you can regularly find me behind the decks bringing people together and spinning some party music.
Actually, I'm interested in everything that's done with passion, being it art, music, literature, cooking, .. I just love it. I also like to hear people's stories and learn from them. So if you have a story to share, contact me!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Music:Depends of the mood. I have a broad interest, going from minimalistic techno to punkrock to singer-songwriter stuff (and all inbetween). Some of my favourites are Sarah McLachlan, Regina Spector, Pixies, Sven Van Hees, Buscemi, Portishead, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Paco de Lucia, Filterheadz, Carlos Gardel, CCR, The Scabs, Rone, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, AC/DC, Kaiser Chiefs, Coldcut,.. (and a few thousand more)
Books, books, books! I want to read them all! Unfortunately, one has to make choices! One book that particularly touched me was "Memories of my melancholy whores". Though "La chica mala"(Vargas Llosa) also touched me.
And further ... books about psychology, graphical and other design, photo-books, travel guides, self-education and personal exploration, ..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Why does everything need to be "amazing" these times? I'd rather talk about some magical moments in life and amazing people I have met.
Teach, Learn, Share
My thai fish curry is famous, and I can learn you how to make it :)
And ofcourse I can learn you basics to get you confidently in the dj booth during the next party.
