About Me
Just a guy tumbling around the world, now in Italy for studies. I consider myself a very chill person and I love to share experiences with people around the world
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Where to start? It's a great way to meet a lot of different people, who all have in common this mindset of doing things differently, thinking outside of the box and so on. That's what all the people I've met through CS all have in common and makes it a tremendous experience.
Interests
I love reading, and I'm trying to finish a book of my own. I've also missed studying a whole lot (I spent the last 2 years working in Argentina, trying to make some money to work out my finances and make it to Pavia! In Venezuela, that was impossible)
I really like meeting new people, and getting to know their stories. I don't think there's a single person in the face of Earth that doesn't have an amazing tale to tell.
I'm also a very decent cook, and I had time to hone my skills living alone in Buenos Aires :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Books have made me company ever since I have a memory. Some books stick to you and often save you, without you even knowing it. I like Kafka, Dostoievski, and also Borges, Cortázar & Garcia Márquez, and Cesar Vallejo is one of my favorite poets. Recently I started reading a guy named Roberto Bolaño, it's become one of my top authors. One of my favorite italians bears the name of the city I'm moving to: Cesare Pavese.
E ogni istante è migliore e meno importante
Con una sigaretta tra le labbra e con paura A volte
gli occhi verdi E ventisei anni Per servirvi
That's from Bolaño, translated by Francesco Marotta, but right now it suits me well :)
I grew up with Jazz, Salsa, System of a Down, Rammstein, the RHCP and Regina Spektor, to name a few. So many genres bundled up!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most epic thing I've done was partaking in the protest against the government in Venezuela. Pretty rough, crazy times.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've learned every single person in the world has one hell of a story to tell. All it takes is some ability to listen, and a bit of patience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes, nice conversations, and a human presence. And the promise of a nice room at Caracas, if you ever stumble upon my home country!
Warning: I can cook for you but I put a lot of spice in the food. Caveat emptor.
Countries I’ve Visited
Brazil, Colombia
Countries I’ve Lived In
Argentina, Italy, Venezuela
