About Me
CURRENT MISSION
following the zombieland rules, in particular #32: enjoy the little things
ABOUT ME
i'm settled down in my birth town, just 20 min from the (more or less) exciting Milan, working as an engineer and reasonably satisfied by that. meanwhile i fill my free time with good readings, endless discussions with long-time friends (but everybody can join), travelling as much as possible, and unexpected things, every now and when.
PHILOSOPHY
"homo sum: humani nil a me alienum puto." (i am human, i consider nothing human alien to me, from publio terenzio afro)

Interests
"a human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. specialization is for insects." ra heinlein

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
on the teaching side
every now and then, i host some science discussions (undergrad level) with friends, the most succesful ones have been:
-why the expression "what a small world!" is said so often, with math;
-why it's unlikely to meet ufo, even if they can be widespread all over the universe;
-why the social attitude of human being is so peculiar in biology, through game theory.
if you want to learn about italian politics, you are welcome, but expect complains (it's our favourite sport, after football)
on the learning side
i'm an inquiring mind, eager for knowledge, but if you want to convince me about chemtrails, nwo and stuffs like that, be prepared to a furious debate
