About Me

Read, please: I don't host people under 21.

Economist, foodie and socialiser - alleged eccentric (happily). Openminded, kind and good-hearted. My plan/project is called 'enjoy life to the most'! Living in Madrid now, I have lived also 2 years in Edinburgh and 5 months in Colombia, such good memories there too! Ever since the Edinburgh experience I want to keep in touch with the international community! And now that I can host in my flat, couchsurfers are welcome. But I would prefer to host people whose first language is not Spanish, in order my English doesn't get rusty!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is never too late to travel a lot more than I have travelled up to now and I have decided it is about time. I would like to couchsurf to enrichen the experience of visiting a country with the views of the people that actually live there.

Interests

Cooking, eating, wine (have my own Instagram for food!! :-) @gulisioso), socialising and meeting new people, you always can learn new things from them and enrich your life! I consider myself as a person in constant evolution - and I hope is for the better!! Hehe I am not the same person I was 10 years ago, neither will be the same person in 10 years from now! Always happy to challenge my own ideas and to meet people that challenges them :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

A bit of everything if good. In movies/books, drama and sci-fi are my favourite genres. One of the things I have enjoyed more was a piece of contempotary ballet that I had the chance to see in Edinburgh: 'A streetcar named desire'. Also I like music from many different genres, from pop, indie-pop, jazz, blues, Spanish singers, boleros to bachata...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the Machu Picchu! Visited Tayrona park in Colombia!! :-) I have seen Hagia Sofia! In Istambul!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Although I am an economist I am also a good cook (I can cook pretty much anything) and I enjoy cooking for friends, so perhaps I could cook some meal while staying in your place and share some cooking tips... I am also Spanish native speaker, if you are interested in improving or learning some Spanish, we could chat in Spanish...

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Belgium, Colombia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
