ABOUT ME

My name is Davide (DA-vee-deh, most people get it wrong :D), I am 22 years old and I live near Turin, in northern Italy. My main interest are foreign languages. I have learned English, French, Spanish and Russian and I am in the process of learning French as well. I am doing my master's in languages for International communication, I am a teacher of Italian and English on the website Italki and I also have a podcast for people learning Italian (podcastitaliano.com) and a YouTube channel, too. I'd love to travel and meet people to practice my languages and make new acquaintances.
I am also a musician, I play the piano and keyboard and I played in a few bands when I was younger. I like to run and to work out. I would consider myself to be a bit introverted but I can speak a lot if I like the people I'm with :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have wanted to use CouchSurfing for years but for one reason or another I still haven't done as a guest.. hope that can change soon! I'm here mainly because I like languages a lot and I like to meet people when I'm abroad. The only thing is that it can be a bit hard for me to just go up to people and start having a conversation.. I'm hoping that CS will be a way for me to use my languages and get to know locals in the countries I'm travelling to!
