To experience firsthand every possible perspective and way of life, and try to figure out where that leaves me.

ABOUT ME

My personality is really defined by my interests. I came to California because of the surf, but have really branched out since I have arrived. My interests are listed below.

But aside from those, I am a really straightforward, honest person. While I do not love cities or crowds, I love to interact with people who are similar to me. Growing up in a place like the Virgin Islands has stripped me of most stereotypes. I believe in what people have to offer each other, and so I really appreciate those who are true to themselves and others.

In terms of lifestyle, I don't do drugs, and am not huge in the party scene. I have no problems with these things, I would just rather go to sleep fairly early and wake up early to another wonderful day. I like the idea of experiencing as many places and environments as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

As I have matured, I have realized one thing; that it feels good to be alive. I try to take nothing for granted. My life has been charmed, and I am a spoiled only child. But I keep these things in mind every day and try to notice the ways in which they are altering my views of the world. I respect anyone who keeps true to themselves and others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined CS, so admittedly have participated only minimally in the project so far. I hope to get involved in this new way of traveling and experiencing places. I also hope to host anyone interested in experiencing the central coast of California.
