About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Take Anthony Bourdain's job!
ABOUT ME
I'm a software developer in Atlanta who lives for the outdoors. Most weekends you'll find me on a trail, in a tent, or on a river (or all three). As far as city-life goes, I like to dine out, hit The Fox, have coffee with friends, and go out to parties and other events. My number one love in life is traveling, with a close second being dining. I love to try new foods, even the occasional strange food. And nothing beats meeting new people and hearing their opinions!
PHILOSOPHY
I seem to live for seeing, hearing, tasting, and learning, all that I can. I always do unto others, as I would have them do unto me. I'm not really religious. But I believe that being a good person brings good things to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm happy to host, entertain, and and/or meet new friends!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only had the opportunity to host once, so far. And I've never surfed a couch. But I've met several wonderful people, while traveling. I love to meet locals from the cities, in which I travel, and CouchSurfing has been great for that!

Music, Movies, and Books
Richard Bach is my favorite Author. I have 9GB of music on my iPod, including Opera, Classical, Rock, Jazz, Techno, Dance, and Pop. Like a typical guy, I love sci-fi and action movies, but I also enjoy dramas and comedies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing has impressed me more than the Iguazu Falls. I almost didn't believe that they were real, at times.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been whitewater kayaking for many years now. I have an extra sit-on-top kayak (great for beginners), paddle, and life preserver. So if paddling a river interests you, I'm always happy to introduce people to the sport. I know quite a few hiking trails in Georgia and really enjoy leading hikes. I also have a lot of foodie friends and can usually put together a dinner party, BBQ, or meetup in a restaurant with short to no notice.
