MISSION:
I'm here to connect, learn, and grow. Whether it's over a shared meal, coffee, a spontaneous adventure, a hike, or a simple exchange of stories. I’m about genuine connection with people, places, and experiences that truly leave a mark.
ABOUT ME
I’m just a happy participant in the human experience :). I like simple things in life.
I was born in Mexico City, raised in Buenos Aires, and "educated" in San Francisco. Since then, I’ve been privileged to call a few countries home, travel to many more and to wander through countless cities along the way. From Isfahan to Tbilisi, Kanazawa to Varanasi, Jeddah to Bratislava, ... each place has always mirrored something that felt strangely familiar. Still, the experience that shaped me most, I believe, was my years in the San Francisco Bay Area, which opened my mind to a world of perspectives—the Bay Area forces you to engage regularly with people from across cultures, beliefs, and identities.
What I most appreciate in others is honesty, sincerity, and the ability to see life with openness, depth, and curiosity. I value people who share ideas freely, are not afraid to ask questions, and are willing to look at the world from many different perspectives.
_______
My focus here is more on connection and meeting up than on hosting itself. I’m a fairly low-key host, and I try to keep interaction light... not out of distance, but out of respect for space and personal rhythm. I host the way I would want to be hosted: with comfort, respect, and plenty of independence. (please read couch details)
If you must look through reviews for a sense of me as a person (not a host), do read the personal ones, as they will give you a clearer picture of how loco i am and how I relate to humans. Though meeting me in person is always more accurate, and I'm always down to meet up.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I’m grateful to have a vibrant social life, Couchsurfing holds a special place in my heart. I try to stay actively involved whenever and wherever I can—whether that's hosting travelers (I've welcomed over 50 so far), surfing couches across the globe, or joining local gatherings. I've also helped organize Couchsurfing meetups across South America, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the U.S.
One of the most unforgettable experiences was being part of the Couchsurfing camp at Burning Man in 2012, 2013, and 2014—sharing meals, stories, and laughter under the desert sky. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just a platform; it’s a global community rooted in kindness, curiosity, and trust.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Every Couchsurfing experience I’ve had has been meaningful and memorable in its own way. What I love most is how this community encourages real, face-to-face connections in a world that's increasingly digital and distant.
From spontaneous adventures to quiet conversations over tea, the friendships I’ve made through Couchsurfing have had a lasting impact on me. It’s a reminder that hospitality, generosity, and human connection transcend borders—and that, more often than not, we're far more alike than different.
I am so damn grateful for couchsurfing and the lived experiences :)
Música, películas y libros
People have always laughed and been baffled at my music arrangements and self-made CDs. I would not make a good DJ. The main styles I listen to, however, are Rock (Argentinian, en Español), rock alternative, Jazz, Salsa, Banda, Cumbia, classical music, and Pop. I am recently very fond of dancing groove, soul, and funk :).

MY PASSION FOR BOCA JUNIORS
One of the most constant unforgettable experiences of my life has been standing in La Bombonera, watching Boca Juniors play while surrounded by the energy of our passionate fan base. It’s more than a football match—it's a celebration of identity, community, and emotion. I return to Argentina often just to be part of this atmosphere.
If football isn't your thing, that’s totally fine! I’d never try to convert you. But I’d love to share what it means to me—not as a sport, but as a deeply social and cultural phenomenon. My love for Boca isn’t about stats or trophies—it’s about the people, the rituals, the joy, and the chaos. It’s about being part of something bigger than yourself.
Also, I proudly identify as a Maradoniano.

MEXICO — Mi Casa
Mexico is home in every sense of the word. I’ve lived in Mexico City, Puebla, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, Querétaro, and Monterrey—spending at least six months to several years in each. When I say I know Mexico, I mean it from the inside out.
I’ve traveled extensively throughout the country, visiting all 32 states and dozens of cities and towns. Mexico never stops surprising me. I've done every possible version of the Mayan route :)
Enseña, aprende, comparte
In one of my old forgotten blogs, I responded to my favorite poem "a morte devagar". A poem that truly had a direct impact on my life: http://beaner-beans.blogspot.com/2010/05/my-response-to-morte-devagar-slow-death.html
