About Me

I love the beach. I would like to do some nature stuff as well but I don't know where to go . If you want to practice your English I'm the best! 😆

I loved travel so much that I graduated and became a foreigner. I say what I mean and I mean what I say and I expect the same from you.

PHILOSOPHY

Balance. Not too much chocolate but never too little. Work hard in winter party in summer.Karma

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly host. My response rate is actually 100% when somebody takes the time to write a decent request. Over the last few years I've had some very poorly written requests that aren't worth my time responding to.

When I host a foreigner it makes me feel like I'm on vacation and reminds me there are other worlds out there. I'd like to help the travelers travel. I'm also really interested in meeting Polish people outside Malapolska for weekends and vice versa. As of 12-31-2012 I've been very active going to CS meetings, now I even help organize a few myself with the Great Krakow Team"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About 16 years. So far so good. In 2013 I have come out of hibernation as I was not so active before. I've only had 1 experience that wasn't good but it wasn't so bad that I had to write about it. I think in the cities you have many alternatives but for the villages CS is the only way to go.

AS OF JUNE 2013: I'm getting about 1.5 CS requests daily so you need to read my profile, be fun, positive, persuasive and have your profile filled out at least 85% when requesting to surf my couch. Surfers who have Krakow night life as their top priority will be given top priority. Cycling, swimming, going to restaurants will also improve your chances.

AS OF JULY 2013: I'm only getting a request every other day but the quality has improved greatly :-)Cheap people have been avoiding me. If I give you an €œ"Approved"€, then I expect a confirmation reply with-in 72 hours, for emergency couch 15 hours, if not then I will retract the Couch, for there could be others that are waiting for a Couch on your dates. If you are travailing and can not confirm, please tell me at the Couch request.

AS OF AUGUST 2013: I HOST FOR POSITIVE EXPERIENCES so I no longer will be hosting surfers after their trip to Auschwitz. As a host this is simply too much to bear and I'm tired of all conversations connected to it. A hostel is a better fit for going to Auschwitz because you could easily find somebody who is also interested in going there and talking about it.It's not like going to the Musée du Louvre or the Van Gogh Museum or The Salt Mine. AUSCHWITZ IS DEPRESSING NOT ENTERTAINING! As a host it's like finding out one of your surfers relatives have died. I do not think Auschwitz and Couchsurfing make a good mix!! Many need a good friend or family member to talk to after such an experience even being alone not with some stranger. However, some people feel they just have to see it. Ok, when you want to go to Auschwitz please do it after you've been to my place a few days and make ho(s)tel arrangements for that day and we can take a break and surf the day after. After going to Auschwitz you'll most likely be tired from walking around all day and will want to stay in because you've used all your energy so that's a good day to take a break from Couchsurfing.
