Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hitchhiking around Scandinavia on a wing and a shoestring
ABOUT ME
To use a popular Thai proverb, I'm the "Same Same, But Different". As we all are, I guess.
PHILOSOPHY
Right now, I'm just full of enthusiastic youthful confusion. I'll fill this section properly in when I know what I want to write.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just joined CS, after hosting and surfing with my friend using his account in London. Looking forward to finally hosting people myself when I get back in September!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm writing this on another CouchSurfer's laptop in Copenhagen at the moment, actually. A really warm, welcoming guy from Morocco with the CS spirit in spades. Definitely a host whose attitude I'd aspire to adopt one day!
Interests
I think I was born with feet itching for travel, an activity I try to enjoy as much as possible. Also, since beginning university, I've discovered a great outlet for my creative side in writing scripts. I think it's the part of the filmmaking process where the imagination can run riot, before budgetary concerns burst the bubble.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an absolute fiend for all three, and look forward to conversations about this when we meet. For now, I'll list some current favourites.
Movies- Mulholland Drive, Dazed and Confused, I Heart Huckabees, eXistenZ, XX/XY, Sideways, Zodiac, The 400 Blows, I Am Cuba, Miami Vice (It's amazing, I swear).
Music- Elliott Smith, Sufjan Stevens, Jeffrey Lewis, Frederic Chopin, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Blood Brothers, Refused, Mos Def, Brother Ali, Band Of Horses, Bruce Springsteen, Nick Cave, Richard Thompson, Ratatat, Immortal Technique, Eaves, Sonic Youth, Dan Deacon.
Books- Weaveworld, Glamorama, Ender's Game, Imajica, Malcolm X, The Alvin Maker Series, The Dark Tower, 100 Years of Solitude.
And much more, but that will have to suffice for now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Speaker's Corner, London. Everyone should go once in their lives.
Teach, Learn, Share
Try peanut butter on pizza. It's amazing, in a sick kind of way. Just have it the once though, or you'll be coffinsurfing at your local mortuary with a clogged up heart and a pot belly.
