Overview
About Me
I'm relaxed and easy going, curious and contemplative. I love meeting new people and learning their perspective on life.
I do research about how people balance and control their movement. For the past couple of years I have been working with people that have Parkinson's disease which has been a rewarding and challenging experience!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met some of my closest friends through CS and I am constantly in awe of some of the wonderful people I meet through couchsurfing experiences!
Interests
Always interested in meeting new people and discovering new places. Abandoned buildings. Science. Politics. Board games. Books. Fencing (the kind with swords). Photography (the kind with film, chemicals and dark rooms). Staying up all night with friends and watching the sun rise.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really have favourites but I love to read and I'm part of a wonderful book club that is constantly helping me discover books I probably wouldn't have come across otherwise. Unfortunately I now don't live in the same city as my book club but I still like to Skype in and catch up with my friends.
I like music that doesn't take itself too seriously and I'm always discovering new bands, especially at festivals.
