About Me

I got my PhD diploma at the end of 2018 and now I'm doing research (postdoc) in Computer Science. My research field is on distributed systems (mostly Cloud computing stuff) and how we can improve both performance and energy efficiency of these systems. I won't go deeper in this subject right now. If you are interested to know more, I'd be glad to discuss about it when we meet :).

Computer stuff is one side of my life. On the other side, there is music. I played the guitar for quite a few years. Recently I decided to stop in order to focus on the piano. Some years ago I recorded songs with my home recording studio. For time constraint reasons I had to stop, but I'll come back to this when the opportunity arrives.

From a general point of you, I consider myself as a lover of the nature, an ecologist, maybe a little bit obsessive protector of the environment but it's just because I love my planet and I want to discover every side of it! Socially speaking, I'm an easy-to-live-with person, I always want to make myself useful and to help others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling and to meet people. I realize that CS is the best way to travel and meet people at the same time. For just a few days we live with someone else, discover his/her life and we share our culture/life mode. That's all the magic I'm looking for!

I'm also here because I'd like to be able to host some of you at my place. Our place is next to Nantes, in a cozy farm area. It's calm, just next to the nature, we have lovely dogs and everything you'll need to feel like home.

Interests

IT stuff, programing, music, playing any kind of instruments, music festivals, dance, meet people, tchat, laugh, deep conversations, completly useless and nonsense conversations, playing cards/board games, roller skating, ice skating, bike, walking through the forest, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit of cooking and gardening. I can also share to you my experience in music stuff. But where I am the best is computer science and I could talk about the magic of programming for hours (and still I'm far away from what we could call a geek or a nerd) ;).
