About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Continue to explore the world and continue to meet awesome people along the way.
ABOUT ME
Hello, Couchsurfers! My name is David and I was made in America with Norwegian parts. I lived in Minnesota until I was 28, decided it was time for a change, and moved to sunny San Diego! It has been the best decision ever.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is pretty simple: stay positive, treat others with respect, and never leave the house without making my bed!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everybody should travel! People are supposed to wander; it is good for the soul. Unfortunately, many people don’t because it can be overwhelming and expensive. My goal is to ease those burdens by offering my home so that people can experience all that San Diego has to offer. In return, I hope that I can make great friends in other parts of the world, learn about their culture, and use the Couchsurfing experience to grow as a person.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have only hosted! However, I’ve been making lots of friends on here and can’t wait to visit them soon. There are not a lot of vacation/holidays in the States so I have to be selective with my travel :)
Interests
Anything outdoors or social! Surfing, hanging out at the beach, bike rides, hiking, watching the sun set, trying out new restaurants, hosting friends, going out for drinks, and exploring new places.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am an avid reader and enjoy all types of music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I trained a wiener dog named Sam to shake hands with humans. It was amazing for two reasons:
1. Sam's arms look like T-Rex arms
2. Sam can be a jerk!
Teach, Learn, Share
A zest for life, laughter, and friendship.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can be your personal San Diego tour guide. If you prefer to do your own thing, I'd be happy to provide you with a map and a list of recommendations.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Mexico
Countries I’ve Lived In
