About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find quarters in the sofa, I mean shoot for the big bucks. Why waste time on pennies?

ABOUT ME

I'm not a perfect person, I just tried to play one in a high-school play once. I'm a traveler on this journey we call life. I try to make good decisions for myself. But even there I'm sure I mess it up a lot. I hopefully keep myself in perspective as a part not the whole. I try to drink deeply from life, while life can scare the living crap out me me too! I love to travel, not vacation. Lover of music. I'm a good guy, but I can get a bit full of myself at times. I believe we each have a personal responsibility to each other's life. I enjoy a good beer, or 12.

PHILOSOPHY

This thing that we call life is an interesting journey. Sometimes we know where we are going, or at least where we want to go, sometimes we have no earthly idea about either one. I take this journey very personally. I'm excited, I'm scared, I'm hopeful, I'm anxious, I'm encouraged, and I'm deflated. The wonderful thing is that I'm a child God and I'm only trying to live this life the best way I know how. I like to explore my faith in God, spirituality, in powers greater than myself. I also like to just kick off the shoes and have some fun along the way. I love to travel across the world or across town. I'm constantly interested in how we humans relate to the world around us, on both micro and macro-levels. I'm constantly seeking wisdom, knowledge and advice about how I can live my life and relate to people around me in more joyful and authentic ways. I often fail, and that's ok. I'm human, we're human, but we're humans together.

Cheers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

unfortunately I'm not at a place where I can open up my living quarters to travelers. I am looking to meet new friends and experience the culture of the cities I visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept of several couches in my life and I tried to surf once. Failed miserably at the latter, quite successful with the former.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to listen to other's stories and learn from them. I think I can help meld people's thoughts about themselves and encourage them in their life pursuits. I want to learn how to be a better photographer and student of people.
