ABOUT ME

My name is David, I am 26 years old and have just completed my Master of Education in English, Music, and Theology at University of Osnabrück.

My hobbies are Percussion/Music, Movies, going out and have fun with friends ... the "usual". I'm an easygoing type of person that laughs a lot and loves to have fun.

I will gladly show you around Osna and/or all the pubs and clubs here in town. Nothing better than a cold beer by the bar. Don't get me wrong, though. I do love to just sit down, listen to music or have a good conversation or discussion. We may as well go to the theatre here in Osnabrück. You might even catch me on stage.

I have been playing percussion for 20 years, have played in many bands, orchestras and ensembles. During my one year long stay in Texas I was part of a drumline. I have studied Music and am going to become a teacher for Music and English.

My girlfriend, Bianca, and I have been dating for a little over three years. During our travels we enjoy lazy days on the beach just as much as great adventures, exploring the outdoors, and getting to know places and its people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed quite a lot of couches in the U.S., France and Spain. I met some of the greatest people along my way. Also met up with CSers that "only" showed me around.

I started hosting in Osnabrück. So far it has been a great ride.

Bianca and I have also done a lot of couchsurfing together. We visited old friends in NYC and went to Mallorca/Spain for a week.

Films: Inception, Memento, Requiem for a dream, K-Pax, BIG Fish, Young Adam, Little Miss Sunshine, The Weather Man, Black Hawk Down, Crash, Life of David Gale ... the list goes on and on and on... Those are all "deep" movies, but hell - give me Hot Shots, Hot Tub Time Machine and whatever silly movie there is: LOVE 'EM just as much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, Bungee Jumping.

Took part at several Percussion Competitions in Germany and have been quite succesfull if I do say so myself.
