About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living and enjoying Brighton!

ABOUT ME

I am a writer who enjoys travelling and never being static. For the last year I have lived in Nicaragua, Central America, where I was volunteering and working as a journalist. Afterwards I spent a month in Cuba. When I was 17 I finished school and travelled around South America for a year.

Since I have hitchhiked around Europe for 2 months, CSing in many place and WWOOFing in France.

As a native Briton I like bad weather, bad food and bad teeth. But I secretly want sunshine, cheap wine and good friends.

I love to meet eccentric people, to talk and drink until the early hours of the morning. I am sociable and interesting.

Currently I am finishing my first novel that I hope to publish soon, a book about hitchhiking and couchsurfing around Europe, that you can help with!

PHILOSOPHY

From my brief life so far I have been taught that life is there to be lived and it will quickly pass you by if you let it.

- "get busy living or get busy dying"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Last year I created an activity in Paris where a lot of couchsurfers met and shared a few bottles of wine on a small island....
then I helped organise a massive CS meeting in Pamplona for sanfermines that were some of the craziest and best four days I have ever had the pleasure of living...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet slept on anyones couch....neither others on mine...but I can start from now and make up for lost time

- I wish my travels were as extensive and wild as Kerouac's

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have cycled down the worlds most dangerous road in Bolivia (whilst being unable to ride a bike!!) ; I have trekked up Machu Picchu; I have swam and played with seals and penguins in the Galapagos; I have won 30 dollars at a cock-fight in Ecuador; and have built over twenty houses in Guatemala.

More recently I have survved sanfermines in Pamplona and got nutted by a bull in the chest

More recently me and my friends have hitch-hiked through France and Spain for a charity event from England to Morocco.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to be able to share some of the experience and life lessons ive picked up on my travels.

I hope that im a nice and genuine person and I'd like to spend as much time with as many people as possible
