ABOUT ME

Tall bloke from Quebec, Canada. Currently studying to be a high school teacher. Love the outdoors and particularly skiing. I've taught skiing right here in Quebec, in California and in Australia. I'm pretty easy going and right now is the perfect time to experience stuff and go around the world. Next up : a month in Europe to start my summer vacations right.
Je viens de Québec, la plus belle ville en Amérique du Nord. J'étudie pour être enseignant au secondaire. J'aime bien le plein air et je rêve de voyager avec mes skis dans les pieds. J'ai enseigné le ski ici au Québec, en Californie et en Australie. Je suis pas un gars compliqué et je considère que c'est dans la vingtaine qu'on peut faire les choses les plus folles et vivre les moments les plus intenses de notre vie et je n'ai pas l'intention de passer à côté de ça.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Friendly people make friendly countries, and I want to give a posititve image of french canadians as well as getting to know more about others. I think letting someone you barely know sleep in your house is a great example of being open to others and helps to bring people together. Also, I'll teach you a few words in french.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much. My friends told me it was great and since I'll be traveling on my own I figured now is a great time to get into it!

Movies, in no particular order : Inglorious bastards, Frankenstein Jr, District 9, Lord Of The Rings, Heavy Metal, Natural Born Killers, Attack Of the Killer Tomatoes, Hot Shots, James Bond, Monty Python etc.. Funny, artsy, deep, touching, violent sometimes, but it has to be good

Music : Pretty much anything. Recently I've been mainly into Bon Iver, Lykke Li, Justice, Metronomy, M83, M.I.A., Friendly Fires, Ratatat, Star Slinger, Patrick Stump, Feist, Florence + The Machine and others. I have 35gb of music on my ipod so that gives you and idea...

Books : Harry Potter, Fortune de France. I read the paper in the morning..

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'll teach you french. I study to become a History and Geography teacher, so I know a thing or two about those subjects and am very interested in learning more.
Given how much I feel I could tell you about myself and where I'm from to go beyond general conceptions and stereotypes, I'm sure you can tell me as much or even more about yourself and I'm very keen to hear all of it.
