ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going guy with lots of interests. I've been working at a small start up since I graduated, and have been getting settled into the Bay Area. I like to go hiking/camping as much as possible and have become a pretty avid climber. I love playing soccer and ultimate frisbee when the chance is there, and to have a few beers and great food anytime!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a few times while traveling around Europe, and I want to continue to use this to both travel more here in the US and to Host here in Chapel Hill.

Surfed a few times traveling around Europe this past semester, bringing the fun home with me!

I like to be spontaneous and do what ever is happening around me. If my friends are going somewhere for the weekend, I'll join. I like to go hiking, or just generally walking around outdoors. I've started getting into rock climbing (but have been out of it for about 9 months now- my wall at home closed). I'm also into pretty nerdy things like robotics (just starting) and yo-yos. I like to bike; not competitively, I just really like to ride my bike around. I also like to build/ construct things. I built my bike for example. I love to go and see things and experience them for my self- ADVENTURE!

I've watched a ton of movies, but for some reason I can never remember actor names, movie titles, etc, etc. I'm a content person. I don't make the time to read too much, so my cannon of 'favorite books' pretty much consists of all the books I've read. Music again is a difficult one. Lately I've been getting into oldschool hip-hop (Dr Dre, Wu Tang Clan, even Will Smith), but I'm also into blue-grass, Jazz, etc etc. I dont usually get into many pop songs (anybody else notice how similar each song is?)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The best moment is when you're hiking up a mountain and you finally reach that vista at the top and can see for miles and miles in any direction. I've hiked a few trails in the Appalachian mountains. The second best moment is when you find a back stairwell to a really tall building in a city and find an amazing view over a city that isn't seen by too many people.
