ABOUT ME
I am very enthusiastic and have a powerful life story. Intentional living is a core life value and vision. Somatics, specifically Bioenergetics and Somatic Experiencing and movement modalities are at the center of my life.
I am sober, committed to a life of healing, empowerment and self actualization. Integrity and clear communication are core values of mine. If you drink that's not an issue for me, I don't mind being around alcohol, I just don't drink.
Those who know me consider me and have told me that I am responsible and reliable. As far as how I live with people- I respect boundaries and I am not messy. Boundaries and clear communication and expectations are very important to me.
I am a lover of the Humanities- I love all forms of art, I am a conversationalist and enjoy long talks about deep topics and learning about other people's life experiences and worldview.

I love reading philosophy, and have delved into a lot of ancient, modern, and post-modern literature. I enjoy reflection but find practices of meditation to be the best way I find understanding.
Music: I LOVE motown, soul, funk. Everything from the Temptations and Kool and the Gang to Lakeside or the Spinners/the Whispers, I listen to it and dance to it! I would consider myself an amateur pop/locker :) I have an eclectic musical taste. I listen to all kinds of genres. I can easily switch from listening to Deadmou5 to Nick Drake, to Rihanna, Green Day, ACDC, Underoath, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Irene Cara, U2, Queen, and even throw in some Mozart or Beethoven and we have ourselves a music love fest. I do love 80s music and discovering new music. Country is still something I am learning to appreciate. Must be the Jersey in me.
Some of my favorite songs:
"Gabriel's Oboe" by Ennio Morricone
"Live Forever" by Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors
"And the Beat Goes On" by the Whispers
"Pink Moon" by Nick Drake and Joel Fredericksen
"Golden Path" by The Chemical Brothers
"Kamera" by Wilco
"What a Fool Believes" by the Doobie Brothers

The Mission
Of gods and men
Capote
The Iron Giant
Star Trek
Remember the Titans (or anything Denzel Washington is in)
Looper

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-briefly piloted a 4-passenger plane at the age of 12 (young eagles flying school in NJ)
- freshman year of college 2009- fellow cross country runners woke me up and convinced me to drive 8 hours to Terre Haute, IN to watch Sam Chelanga win the D1 XC Hats 10k race. Got to meet and congradulate him and the OSU XC team.
- jumped off a 35 foot cliff twice into water.
- A 2nd generation student of Bruce Lee gave me a 2.5 hour trainingsession in Bulldog Jeet Kune-Do. He hit my forehead pretty hard accidentally at one point trying to demonstrate a response.
