Hello, my name is David! I like being active, eating well, laughing a lot, learning often, exploring new places, and enjoying life. I've lived in many places and enjoyed the company of many great people and because of this I profoundly believe that we do not go with people to explore places, we go to places to explore people.

PHILOSOPHY

Eat well, exercise often, never stop exploring, learn as much as you can remember, treat others better than fair, and always make sure those you care about are aware of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I like the classics. My favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo

Music: I like a lot of genres but I'd say my favorite band right now is LCD Soundsystem

Movies: The Blues Brothers, Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, Rocky, City of God, The Silence of the Lambs, The Da Vinci Code, Superbad, Dumb and Dumber, any Coen or Farrelly bros movies, anything with Chris Farley, ummm I should really write these down...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really haven't seem as much of the world as probably most of the people on here but I have been to a few interesting places: I worked in the Coast Guard for 4 years and have visited the Bahamas, Cuba, Haiti, and Hawaii.

The furthest I've been from home is Curitiba Brazil and one day I hope to return for something a little more permanent!
