Love meeting new people and discovering new places. Music is more than a passion or a hobby to me. It's a way of life. When I travel I tend to go to a place where the ocean is nearby so I can catch a few waves when it's on.

In Belgium I work as a social worker with kids/young adults between the age of 16 and 25 who basically get in trouble. Serious trouble. I try to help them by showing them a few other options in life. I truely love my job but it can also get under your skin. So when I feel the need to let go, I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way of meeting new people and discovering places in a way you couldn't when you book a trip with a group or just hang back in the hotel. I like to move around, meet local people and see the real stuff, not the stuff that's in every tourist guide. Also, I like to travel alone, with no restrictions. Couchsurfing gives you that opportunity.
