I love learning about new cultures, and finding out about how other people live their lives and view the world. When I travel to foreign countries I am more interested in the people, and sometimes skim by the traditional tourist attractions. I'm self-sufficient, but am down to do anything my hosts find interesting. I like finding deep discussions around the nature of life, morality, humanity as well as modern science and technology.

To be perfectly honest, it's part the feeling of giving back and being grateful for the cards that I have been dealt. The other major part is the selfishness that I want to meet as many people from around the world and experience their culture and viewpoints, and that's a hell of a lot easier when they show up on my doorstep.
