I'm David, born and raised in Paris, France. After a few years abroad, i worked for 20 years in the watch industry. Doing pretty much everything in the business from creating brands, designing, distribution, marketing etc... My true passion is design. I love to create something from scratch.
I unfortunately had to close down my company a years ago and i'm now motivated to travel more and meet interesting people worldwide. I live in the center of Paris near the Canal St Martin and I have a guest room which I'm happy to use for my visiting family, friends and why not you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to try new things, and i want to travel more like i use to. Saving a few bucks in accomodations while meeting new people is a no brainer for me so I want to give it a try!

I was once saved by a haïtian living in Maui who kindly took a stranger (me) to the hospital, after a nasty shorebreak wave crushed on me and dislocated my shoulder!
