About Me

I update this every so often when things change in my life. I am 25 now, living and studying film directing in my hometown of Prague. Before that, I lived in Edinburgh for 2.5 years studying film, delivering food, washing dishes. As I am a projectionist in two cinemas in Prague now, I would bravely say I am digging that hard path towards future in film and hapiness. Which reminds me, anyone looking for someone to direct a music video for them/their band? Here, here!

I live in a shared flat in the best Prague district, Žižkov. Yet not destroyed by tourism. Good pubs and cafes. Hopefully, I'll be able to host there in the near future. Can't say anything for sure.

I believe human is a socialising creature, that's why I love things like couchsurfing, hitchhiking or getting into a conversation with a stranger - sadly a thing looked at as quite odd among Czechs; the southern states are inspiring to me in this. At the same time, I like my solitude, just not for too long.

My other interests that I'm more, less or not at all experienced in combine writing, climbing, cycling, skateboarding, analog photography, dreams, playing music, wood carpentry... and there's always more that can spark my interest :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hitchhiking (and trains) and couchsurfing is fun fun and cheaper and healthier than planes and hotels. Meeting people is what makes the journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One stuck in recent memory is a quick swim in Loch Lomond in Scotland's Highlands in early December. The air temperature was 2°C so the lake probably wasn't much warmer.

In August 2018, I walked from Santarem to Lisbon in 2 days which is faster than you should do it! (Trust my poor ankles)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a few chords on the guitar. I'm not the best player myself. We can paint, dance or cook together. Whatever you like!

If I go out you can most likely join me if you fancy it.

I have a harmonica but I can't really play it. I'd love to finally learn it though. If you have a skateboard and could teach me some tricks that would be the greatest gift I could receive.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Ill fix you some porridge or eggs in the morning. No worries.
Don't really count on me showing you around the city. Ill give you some good tips for sure but I'd rather avoid repeatedly visiting the tourist attractions. As said though, if you'd like to join me for other things you're welcomed to come along.
