About Me
I love meeting new people and traveling. I am driven by the idea of connecting dots around the world; touching lives as I go.
Live hard and fast. Love with intensity. Never forget where you're from and how you arrived where you currently are.
Beer.
I love traveling, reading, writing. There is nothing like a good book. I wish I could write them all but that would take too long!
Not all who wander are lost.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently I've been on the road the last few years for about 7 months at a time. I have tried couch surfing through this site and on my own. So far it's been an awesome experience! You start feeling like you are part of the place, not just a tourist there.
My goal since I graduated university back in 2013 is to see 100 countries by the age of 30. I'm on my way to that goal now with under 30 left to visit. This year I am trying to travel from Japan to Iceland in 7 months. My goal is crazy, but meeting people here on couchsurfing makes this goal much more fun. Traveling alone gets lonely, so couchsurfing is a way I can connect with local people and get to understand their ways of life. Staying in hostels gets boring pretty quickly.
If you want to know more about me check out my Instagram or send me a message to add me on Facebook. I am a normal dude from a very normal town in an extremely normal state. Problem is that I am not a normal person ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy learning from other people. I also love philosophy and dystopian literature. Having studied English in University, I love reading EVERYTHING. I am always open to new books, ideas, thoughts about literature. Part of the fun of traveling is meeting people and being imprinted on by them.
One always begins traveling to see a new place, but at the end it's the people one meets that make the place so impressive and unique. I live by this idea.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was still in University, I taught English in South Korea for 6 weeks. It was an amazing and eye-opening experience, but also showed me I didn't want to be a teacher. It takes a special person to be a teacher.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you all about my travels, history and teaching experiences in South Korea.
Also I come from a very beautiful place in the states. Most people actually don't lock their doors where I'm from. I'd like to think Wisconsin is a place where there are still nice people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a conversationalists. If you like long, philosophical talks, I would be a good couch surfer.
