About Me

CURRENT MISSION:

Travelling since 2006 -non stop, no airplanes- around half of the world. Nowadays I'm on my way back to my homeland in Costa Brava, Girona, Catalunya, Spain; probably arriving there on December 2016.

Ok. Already arrived ' home'. Now my mission is recover myself from a way too long trip AND see if I can be happy, again, in my homeland...

ABOUT ME:

I think I am pretty sincere, noble, honest, ... Sensitive, helpfully, 'Good person', ... Happy, intelligent -now less-, talkative, ... With personality, perfectionist, organized, ... With energy -now less-, with principles, fighter -now less-, ...

- AND I HATE LIES !!! -

PHILOSOPHY:

( + ) Try to make happy as many people as possible, starting for the people closer to me.

( + ) Try to give as much truth as possible, starting for the people closer to me.

( + ) Try to balance my actions.

Or, let's put it in a more philosophical way:

--------- I --------- the others ---
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
--- happiness ------ truth -------
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
------- get ----------- give --------
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
------------- balance --------------

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I became member of it on 2007 trying to save some accommodation budget for travelling longer time. BUT, after some years on it, what I can say now is what 'Couchsurfing' has given to me the most is ( ! ) the chance to know people/cultures from all over the world better -So, the chance to know the world better-, ( !! ) the chance to increase and diversify my life experiences -So, the chance to know my life and myself better-, and ( !!! ) the chance to increase and diversify the number of friends and good friends of mine around the world -So, the chance to have a happier life-. Then, by all points of view I currently remember and value, I think 'Couchsurfing' has improved my life.

Therefore, 'Why I'm on Couchsurfing?'... 'BECAUSE IMPROVES MY LIFE!' Ha, ha. But I hope it also improves 'the others' lifes too! Ha, ha, ha

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:

Being a guest ( more ), being a host ( less ), because I'm currently travelling ... When I stop travelling I guess I will be more 'host' than 'guest' ...

Ok. I guessed wrong. I've already finished my 10 years trip and I'm, again, in my homeland, BUT, unfortunately, nowadays I'm sharing a rented flat with 4 other people and a dog and no any spare space left... Hope in near future I can have my own living space to share... Sorry...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

I started on 2007 and, for the moment, I can say it is as good/bad and divers/alike as the life itself.

Interests

To travel, to learn, to share, ... To become better person, to meet good persons, to improve other persons/living beings life... To love, to be loved, ... To help, to teach, to improve everything ... So, in fact: TO BE HAPPY! ( Like everybody, isn't it? )

THE WORLD...

THE TRUTH; to see the truth of the things in anything I do, anywhere I go...

THE HAPPINESS...

THE BALANCE ? ...

Music, Movies, and Books

WRITERS I LIKED MOST:

( When I was younger ): Quin Monzo, Pere Calders, Alberto Vazquez Figueroa, Herman Hesse, Aldous Huxley, F. Dostoievski, J. L. Borges, Paolo Coelho, ...

( When I studied Western Philosophy ): Plato, R. Descartes, D. Hume, F. Nietzsche, JS. Mill, ...

( Nowadays ): I'm not reading books since some years ago ... But don't worry! I think I will read them again some time later! It is just I'm pretty busy learning by direct experience, I guess.

MUSIC I LIKED MOST :

( When teenager ): Dire Straits, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Helloween, AC/DC, The Ramones, Toy Dolls, Twisted sister, Accept, Metallica, Sepultura, 'Ska music in general', ...

( Around 20 years old ): Classic Jazz, 'Dixie', a bit of the music I listened when teenager, ...

( Early 20's ): Electronic, 'Trance', 'Maquina', ...

( Later on ): 'Jazz music in general', The Ramones, ...

( Nowadays ): I'm not listening to any music since several years ago ... But don't worry! I think I will listen to it again! It is just for the moment I'm not feeling to.

MOVIES ...

Yes, you guessed it right: I'm not watching many movies recently ... ( Maybe too much information to process in this stage of my life? ) Some time later I will try to remember the movies I liked most earlier in my life, ok? Thank youuuuuuuu ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

MORE 'NICE': Travelling, study Western Philosophy, participate in 'Vipassana' meditation courses, walk the 'Camino de Santiago', fall in love, share my life and experiences with very different people, learn, teach, work in different countries in different jobs, know different cultures from pretty inside, ... I think THE LIFE itself is the most amazing thing I've ever done and seen ... I'm definitely a LIFE LOVER ... ( I don't wanna die until I want to do sooooooooooo!!! )

MORE MORBID: See dead people and other dead beings from very close. And also see and do other things MUCH more exciting for the audience, the problem is that I feel too shy too explain them on a public website. Sorry...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'M READY TO LEARN: Anything not very mechanical ( a bit creative if possible ), How to persuade people to be less selfish?, more honest?, more objective?, less discriminator?, more conscious?, more responsible?, more empathetic?, ...

I MIGHT CAN TEACH ( Hope so ): Catalan language, Spanish language, Travelling skills, Western Philosophy ( After recycling myself from too long travelling ... ), How to live on a budget?, How to be happy? ( Although many times I have to teach it to myself ... ), ...

What I Can Share with Hosts

My time, my life, conversations about ANY topic, thoughts, smiles, jokes, solid ( and flexible ) points of view, travelling information, travelling stories, my attempt to be good, honest, sincere and civilized person, ...
