About Me

Easy-going but a bit stubborn. I started tons of things in my life and finished just a few. Jack of all trades master of none. Curious. I move from one extreme to the other in seconds time. People say I am funny, I guess people have very poor sense of humor XD It takes me time to be true friends with someone, but once we are friends I am loyal to the bone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy travelling alone, so staying at ppls houses is a good way to have a good chat at the end of the day, and also blending in the city/town/area you're travelling to. There's much more to do and see than what a lousy guidebook can tell you. Sharing your experiences and time with ppl around the globe it's a big part of travelling itself. It's not just saving some money on housing, it's more of learning to share and have fun.

Interests

I really love music but I not skilled enought to play any instrument. I used to listen to heavy-metal and goth-metal when I was in highschool, I still do, but now I have much broaden styles I like. I like watching movies, specially Asian movies, and inside Asian movies, Chinese and Korean movies. I am keen on reading but since I'm studying a master's degree I don't have much free time to read books, I spend most of my time reading articles for my papers. Recently I've discovered fitness as a funny way to exercise and keep fit. When I was living in Korea I got hooked on hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like cinema but I'm not really a cinema goer. Music is the life, once I read a sentece that said something like "without music life will be a mistake". Completely agree! I really like very rhytmic music, I'm not enclosed in just one gender of music, everything is ok! but specially rock, rumba, latin. As for books, the same philosophy as music; I really enjoy a good book. Books have can take you to amazing worlds. But I must say that I'm more into modern literature than in classic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tricky one. I guess that drinking 10 shots of tequila in a row doesn't account for an amazing thing, even though the bartender was quite amazed. I guess that moving to China and Korea to try to make a living there was pretty cool. Everyday there was like a lil adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can learn tons of things if we're having fu, ejoying a beer in a terrace or on the beach under the sun!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm kind of a mess, so I think I'd learn more from my guests/hosts that they do from me LoL. Seriously. I can share a good time, good chat, I cannot play any instrument, my cooking is very run-of-the-mill, the only thing I can share is my experience working abroad and travelling. Hope is enough.
