I was born at San Luis Potosí, México, a little town in the center of the country that is becoming a great city. My family lives there (and eventually I could get guests there... if I'm there).

Nací en San Luis Potosí, México... Una pequeña ciudad al centro de mi país... Donde podría recibir huéspedes, si es que me encuentro allá.

Then I moved to CDMX (Mexico City), where I studied Drama and acting at the UNAM. Today, I work in theather, cinema and television. But I can't stay too long at the same place, so, sometimes I have the need of taking a backpack and going somewhere else (except in the Pandemia... It was imposible). I like to frecuently move from My comfortable zone, and explore possibilities.

Ahora soy un chilango incomprendido... es decir, vivo en la CDMX. Trabajo como actor, dramaturgo y productor en cine, teatro y televisión. Aunque algunas veces siento la necesidad de agarrar una mochila e irme a otras latitudes. Salirme de mi zona de confort y explorar posibilidades.

I lived at Buenos Aires , Argentina, ten years ago, I was there in a kind of self-discovering trip... I've also been at Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Cuba, Brasil and Guatemala. Right now, after too long with no movement, I'd like to know the North of My continent. Canada, maybe USA.

Viví unos meses en Buenos Aires, Argentina hace diez años, cuando requería hacer un viaje de autodescubrimiento. También he conocido Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Cuba, Brasil y Guatemala. Y ahora, después de mucho tiempo sin moverme me gustaría conocer el norte de mi continente. Canadá, tal vez Estados Unidos.

When possible, I host guests at Home. Meeting people from other countries makes You know a little part of that place they come from. Make them feel comfortable and welcome it's a part of My labor as a citizen from the world.

Cuando puedo, recibo huéspedes en mi casa. Conocer gente de otras latitudes te hace conocer tambien una parte de ese lugar desconocido del que provienen, y hacerlos sentir cómodos y bienvenidos forma parte de mi labor como ciudadano del mundo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend recommended it to me when I went to Argentina, and it became a usual way to know people from all over the world. Couching as well as hosting. When AirB&B appeared on scene, it became a way to have an extra billing amount (indispensable for an independient artist).

But each time I can host old Friends, or New potential Friends, I host them in the old way.

I love the latinamerican old testament "100 años de soledad" (García Márquez Will never die). But José Saramago wrote the New Testament, and it's amazing.

In English, I read from Shakespeare to Sthephen King. Classic to mainstream in the middle of translation.
