About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be present.

ABOUT ME

Oh Good God!! This is why I'd rather sit down over a cup of coffee...

I just want to go sliding into home base with a skinned up knee and tell God "That was fun, can I do it again?!"

PHILOSOPHY

It's not mine, it's Buddha's, but I don't think he'd mind me learning it:
"It is wrong to think that misfortunes come from the East or the West, they originate within one's own mind. Therefore, it is foolish to guard against misfortunes from the external world and leave the inner mind uncontrolled".

Good 'ole St Agustine
"If the world is a book, those that do not travel read but one page".

And one more from one of the Anastasia/Ringing Cedars books:
"Whatever you seek, pilgrim, you are already carrying with you. You keep losing it with every step you take, and are finding nothing new". Makes ya think about all this traveling, doesn't it... ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies, most music, I guess if I have to list a hobby, it's reading... Non-fiction, ancient history stuff mostly...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shooting some military weapons is pretty cool, but most on the range forget the sobering fact of their purpose... And thank God for those who carry 'em in harm's way - YES, there ARE bad people out there...

Loved a few women... And have learned that even you ladies don't know the secret to women!

Stood in awe of the Parthanon... Stood inches from the stones at Stonehenge... Stood in awe of some amazing Cathedrals in Europe... Got pissed at the top of the Eiffel Tower 'cause it was a foggy day and couldn't see a darn thing, but it was still cool! I guess the view from the Empire State building made up for it - oh... Definately stood in silence at Ground Zero... Still give thanks to God when I watch a sunset (from many amazing places)...

Really a topic of discussion over a coffee...

Teach, Learn, Share

Get quite, ground out through your feet, concentrate on bringing energy into your hands - the easiest way is to make a small ball - hands ALMOST touching - once you feel that "warmth" you've awakened to, help people with it... Be careful though, small steps, gotta be grounded (in more ways than just through your feet!)...
