About Me

I'm a multifaceted teacher, facilitator, musician, dancer, and more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually live in Vancouver, but my house is being torn down at the end of April, and I haven't found a new home! My plan is to couch surf for a while until I find just the right place.

I'm here because I like the adventure of meeting new people who I otherwise wouldn't meet. I am deeply grateful to anyone willing to open up their home to a total stranger!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, but Oka is and always will be a dear favorite.

I haven't watched many movies recently. Old favorites include Dead Poet's Society, Amelie, Shawshank Redemption, and Harold and Maude.

I've read so many books that I can't remember everything I've read! The Fountainhead was pivotal in high school. The Little Prince in the same period. Most recently, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is blowing my mind!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was suspended from the ceiling of Rogers Arena while playing a djembe during an international airline convention opening performance with drum groups representing a range of world percussion traditions. I had a blast!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make incredible chai, chocolate, and all kinds of amazing food. I'm meticulously clean, love to help around the house, can teach dance and didgeridoo (and yoga soon!) and love to talk about the meaning of things.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, Laos, Scotland, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
