Currently, I'm a final year MA student of security studies traveling across the Europe for internships, study exchanges and the travelling itself. Originally I'm from the Czech Republic, but I have been living also in Belfast, Tbilisi and Brussels (so if you intend to travel to any of those places, I can share some tips).

"Academically" I'm interested mostly in political violence, ethics of conflicts and violence and dark sides of making us more secure.

I love reading (dystopian novels are my favourite - I guess it's somewhat connected) and expanding my weird-taste music collection (did you know that David Lynch is also a pretty good musician?). I haven't seen many movies but Zvyagintsevs's Leviathan is probably my favourite.

Sometimes I'm also fun at parties.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because my money is tight but my curiosity isn't.
