About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Every day is the best day of my life.
ABOUT ME
I am excited about life! It has been a magical journey these last 26 years. Graduated from Cornell College in 07. Since then I've worked a number of jobs and done a lot of drawing, and a lot of traveling to weddings, music festivals, and ultimate frisbee tournaments. I have been living in Eugene for about a year and fall in love with Oregon every day. I have made so many amazing friends here. I am pursuing a career in economic development and would love to work for the World Bank or IMF some day. Hopefully within a year I will be in an internship or in a graduate studies program.
PHILOSOPHY
(in progress) The quintessential value of existence is LOVE. Love as I best understand it requires two main parts, unconditional positive regard, and acting in service towards the well being of another. We in creation are constantly experiencing the infinite love through so many precious gifts, especially life. Everyone is unique and has unique qualities for being able to give and receive love. I have never 'fallen' in or out of love but I feel like I may be in love with you. and everybody else. But I would love to experience that someday if I can ever wrap my head around it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to host and surf and share tales and nature and make food together. We live on a beautiful 3 acres in Eugene and I know you'll love it here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For a college internship we were sent to a random location to work for the summer and required to find temporary housing. In Texas, my colleagues and I stayed 3 months with a sad clown with an extensive gun collection and a lot of whiskey. I've also surfed on couches in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Boston, Boulder, Jackson, WY, Oregon, Iowa, Oklahoma, and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My car broke down in the Teton National Forest on my way here to Portland. I was there for a week. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I did a lot of cool hikes and bike rides, and also replaced my own starter and fixed several other things on my car.

Every person is embedded with the divine spark that longs to ignite, blaze, shine, and brighten the world. It is up to us to foster this spark and let it eliminate the darkness.
