About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To marry the girl of my dreams (nearly there), dream about the girl I marry (definitely do that), and go on grand adventures together. And nerd out. And eat delicious food. And philosophize, theologize, and mathematize (if that's a word).
ABOUT ME
There is definitely not enough space to say all about me. Or even most, but I'll spare you the boring bits and give a little section of fun.
I'm outgoing and laid back, and like to hang out and chat over coffee, or tea, or beer, or wine, or cocktails. Let's just say that I like drinking things, and talking to people. Talking to people in accents (I may be saying this out loud in a British accent while I write). I wish I could pull off a British accent. But if I get a drink in me, then it turns Irish or Scottish, depending on what I'm drinking. But I stay friendly!
Nerding out is an awful lot of fun, whether it is outbound ancient literature, board games, math puzzles, or trying to figure out how to build a space ship out of toothpicks.
I'm getting married! And Bethany is amazing, so if I'm too loquacious or just plain weird for you, you'll find her quite charming. I certainly do. We enjoy outdoorsy things, putting mustaches on mailboxes, and just adventuring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First time participating, so we'll see. I do like meeting and hanging out with locals, though. So I imagine I'll dive in head first.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experience has been rather limited to friend's couches, though I haven't heard any complaints. I did have a lovely time in Paris through a hospitality exchange, which is kind-of like couchsurfing.
Interests
Swing dancing. Pipe smoking. Tea drinking. Book reading. Deep thinking. Sushi eating. Hiking, hugging, and Neil Degrasse Tyson.
