About Me

CURRENT MISSION

UPCYCLING!!!

ABOUT ME

Nice, down to earth, happy guy. I work a lot in weekdays and try to spoil myself on the weekends. I love being surrounded with honest and nice people that believe in consequences. I meet a really nice friend in NYC and that person opened the place for me, even thought nobody was there; so I'm trying to follow this friendly path to host someone who needs a place where to stay. I'm very clean and neat even though I have 2 dogs and I expect that from my guests. I understood and found that a home it's like a temple, it's the only privacy from the world, and everyone who can bring joy, peace and good things to share into my home is more than welcome. Sounds like very picky, but I'm not, you will feel like home!!!!!!

PHILOSOPHY

CONSEQUENCES and trying to walk the talk and talk the walk. I don't believe in religions, but for personal experiences I do believe in GOD AND JESUS. I try to do good things for the humanity and animals. TRY, OK!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

TO TRAVEL THE WORLD AND EXCHANGE LOCAL EXPERIENCES

I had meet couch surfers throughout my friend's guests, and there had been so much interesting stories to hear about. It's very interesting all you can learn from all the places around the world: culture, places, tips, traveling, etc.

At the beginning I was very sceptic to the experience, but then, all the people that had been in my place have left such nice traces in my life. My dogs are the best warning alerts when guests arrive to my place, and they have been sleeping good with all the people that had arrived.

There is so much to share with people you have never seen and maybe never again, and that allows both sides of the conversation to be an honest communication when the deep topics of life comes around.

I have been hosting so much great people since I opened my home to them, every single one of them brought something new into my life, even though I could repeat the same trip to take them around my country, every time is different, every time is a new perspective and every time is a new thing involved on it.

Interests

Museums, usual city people things, local design. I like to blend in with the city I am visiting and become a citizen as soon as I can, even though its just for a few days.

Music, Movies, and Books

Salvadorean history over the war years. There is a lot of hidden stuff that I like to read about where I grew up and live as a personal brain feeding. Kind of a chick flick but also into great stories like ALMODOVAR. Very into pop sing-a-long music and I think I have been possessed by Lana del Rey and Florence and The Machine lately.

Also into Documentaries of hidden stories, Youtube and Netflix junkie about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would like to leave something positive in the world, I'm one of the first salvadoreans eco-designers living a life where excess is on increase.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a sponge and everyday is a new day to learn something new. If I teach or learn something in my path, WELL, LET IT BE!

What I Can Share with Hosts

What a local can show you and is not in the books. I have noticed that there are interesting things that are not shown in the tourist books like: MUPI (MUSEO DE LA PALABRA Y LA IMAGEN), downtown places and buildings, art gatherings, parties, bars, routes, and events.

I have noticed that there is not much to do in San Salvador, but it all depend in what kind of things do you like to do when you visit; BUT! what I had noticed is that every single person that I have hosted like to rest on my place. I don't know if my country is always in the middle part of their trip, or my place is very relaxed, or is the feeling like home; but all of them always want to have at least one day of relaxing on my place, which I don't mind and actually make me feel that my place charges their batteries to continue the trip.
