About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life and find a roof while winding my way through India.

ABOUT ME

An easy going creative type always on the look out for new experiences. I'm passionate about the environment, visual art, and building communities.
I love to cook, make prints, and get outdoors as much as I can.

I live on the Toronto Island, where my friends and I constructed a yoga studio.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've really enjoyed making new friends through travelling and think that the best way to experience a place is through great local company. I'm new to CS but really eager to see the world through local eyes and hopefully do the same when hosting. We all have so much to share!

Interests

When in the great outdoors I enjoy hiking, swimming, canoeing, gardening, and going to the beach.

In cities I try to absorb as much culture as I can whether it's street art, concerts, or visiting historical places (whether or not they have a plaque)

There is a lot of confusion over what yoga is. From my experience it is a tool that helps us let go of all the things holding us back from becoming happy. what this looks like for meon the mat is usually a mix of hatha, ashtanga, and yin followed by mindfulness or vipasana style meditation. I try and practice yoga all day long when walking down the street, talking with strangers, and just living life :)

At home I'm usually cooking in the kitchen, drawing or making some kind of art, or hosting friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitched from Calgary (the foot hills of the rocky mountains) to Victoria (the large island off the coast of British Colombia), and back across to an ashram at the heart of the Kootenays -and it was done all through the kindness of strangers like you!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn how to bring mindfulness into your life, mediate, practice yoga, draw, make prints, or grow plants then I'm your guy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughter, joy, and yoga lessons (Ashtanga style with a bit of hatha thrown in) Plus all the usual things a good guest should do, like tidying up, cooking, and entertaining.

Aside from being a super polite and neat guest, I've never had someone dislike a meal I've made for them!
