About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've heard many great things about couchsurfing from friends who have been involved for years. I

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Cape town, SA, and trained up as an accounting/finance professional. Lived in Johannessburg for the majority of the last 4 years before transferring to Las Vegas for the last 6 months. I'm positive and outgoing. I just joined couchsurfing as i thought it would be a very useful tool to use while traveling!

PHILOSOPHY

I dont want to look back and say i should have, I want to say I did.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be on the road for 10 weeks from May to Mid July 2013 and looking forward to meeting some amazing people and seeing some beautiful places along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I'm new to CS, friends/family have been involved for many years, I've met some wonderful people though them and heard some epic stories.

Interests

I love exploring. Beaches, oceans, forests, deserts and mountains, cities. Sporting wise I'm a swim, bike and run guy. But for fun I'll surf (waves), snowboard, and scuba when I get the chance. I don't mind having a beer or two, and maybe a dance, with new people in interesting places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't think I've read a fictional book in years, maybe something I'll get into while traveling?...

My best is live music, the intimate kind you'll randomly find in the corner pub. I also recently went to Coachella music and arts in California- Amazing! Otherwise I'll down for listening to indie, 90s grunge and EDM, and maybe a bit of pop, depending on the mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hate to pick one! I've spent the last 6 months living and working in Las Vegas and over that time I've seen some pretty awesome things - I cant get enough of Bellagio Fountains.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Canada, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
